Social Networking for Remote Consultation

We are working with both doctors in Ghana and with Ghanaian doctors in the US to set up a social networking website that will enable the two groups remotely collaborate on patient consultations.

Long Distance Wireless for University Libraries

Our deployment in Ghana links the University of Ghana Legon campus to their remote campuses at the Korle bu Medical School and the City campus (a sort of equivalent to the UC Berkeley Extension). We have more links planned for Spring 2007, in which we will set up links between University of Cape Coast (in Ghana) and University of Ghana. These links will range between 20km - 80km.
